MuteMotion is two friends, one in Canada and one in Japan, who wanted to keep getting better at snowboarding when there was no snow to ride. That's it. That's the origin story. No boardroom, no market research deck. Just two riders and a garage problem.
We built this because every spring the snow melted and we had nowhere to practice. By next winter our balance was rusty, and we spent weeks just getting back to where we were. Rails were the scariest part. Your first try is on hard snow, with people watching. So we made a way to practice at home: a board, real bindings and a bar to slide on, all in one box. We ride it ourselves, and we only sell what we would use.
